The challenge was to make the business feel more personal, memorable, and trustworthy while increasing revenue through more effective acquisition and retention.

I developed a more cohesive brand and campaign system across paid ads, email marketing, and social content, using storytelling and stronger visual consistency to make the business feel more distinct and relatable. The work helped turn the brand’s family-owned identity into a clearer advantage across customer touchpoints.
Context
Barreras Family Farm operated in a competitive market where product quality alone wasn’t enough to stand out. The business needed a stronger way to communicate its values, family roots, and product story while building a more scalable digital presence that could support growth.
The challenge was to create a brand and marketing system that felt personal and trustworthy, while also performing well across paid campaigns, email flows, and ongoing social content.
Approach
I focused first on building a more relatable and consistent brand presence. Content and creative were designed to highlight the family behind the farm, the quality of the products, and the warmth of the overall experience, helping the brand feel more human and distinctive than larger, more impersonal competitors.
From there, I supported growth through targeted Facebook campaigns, automated email sequences, and content designed for both conversion and retention. Campaigns were built around stronger offers, clearer messaging, and visuals that felt aligned with the brand, while Klaviyo flows helped keep customers engaged across welcome, post-purchase, upsell, abandoned cart, and re-engagement touchpoints.
Video and storytelling also played an important role. By blending personal content with more polished campaign assets, the brand developed a more authentic and memorable voice that helped strengthen trust over time.
Impact
The result was a stronger digital presence and a more effective marketing system that supported both acquisition and retention. Paid campaigns achieved click-through rates between 6% and 11%, email campaigns delivered strong engagement, and the business saw a monthly revenue increase of $9,000.
More importantly, the work helped position Barreras Family Farm as more than just a product-based business. It became a more recognizable and emotionally resonant brand, showing how storytelling, consistency, and thoughtful digital design can create real business momentum even in a highly competitive category.
